Moulin Cornille Olive Oil
This Olive Oil is unlike any other we’ve tried. You have your good quality extra virgin olive oils from around the Mediterranean, but Moulin Cornille is something completely different. In a town called Maussane-les-Alpilles, there is an olive mill that was built in 1610, since it’s construction it has produced fine Olive Oil and still does. It was private for a long time but became a cooperative in 1924 and now gathers olives from a number of nearby growers, turning their crop into something worth celebrating. The big difference is that they have opted to age the olives for up to 8 days, intensifying the aromas and bringing a powerful black olive flavour to the final product. This unique oil is steeped in history and will elevate any dish lucky enough to have it.
